凱特．布蘭琪在電影《藍色茉莉》中的形象簡直就是女版伍迪．艾倫！神經質以及喋喋不休。表演真的很精彩﹐她也以這個角色頻獲大獎。只是看得出來是在表演﹐因為想到她在《魔戒》中截然不同的形象與表演﹐於是知道她是在表演。
伍迪．艾倫則不同。在每一部電影中的他都是他﹐他就是那個樣子﹐彷彿你看到的角色就是他本人﹐並不覺得他是在表演。你在他“表演”的角色中看到伍迪．艾倫這個人﹐在他的電影中看到伍迪．艾倫這個人﹐甚至在茉莉身上也看到伍迪．艾倫這個人！
凱特是優秀的演員﹐演什麼像什麼。可是你看不到凱特這個人的真實樣貌。所以凱特是演員。
伍迪．艾倫身份多重：演員﹐導演﹐劇作家﹐社會版不倫戀/婚者…﹐但你卻總能看到他以及他的本質﹐所以伍迪．艾倫是藝術家。（葉子啟）

Blue Jasmine is like a female version of Woody Allen: nervous and chattering all the time. Her performance is so wonderful
that it has already brought her quite a few best acting awards. However, we can tell that she is acting. We know that she is acting because we’ve seen
her totally different images and performance in other films like The Lord of the Rings.
Woody Allen is a different story. He seems to be always himself in every film. He is
always like that as if the role you saw is he
himself. You don’t think he was performing. You see this man Woody Allen in every role he
played, in every film he shot, and even in the role of blue Jasmine!
Kate is a very good actress. Her performance brings life to every role she
played. But you never see the real self/nature of this
woman Kate. Kate is an actress.
Woody Allen has multiple identities: actor, director, playwright, social version of an incestuous love
